Glens Falls Neurology treats patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient settings, including:

  • A NYS-designated Stroke Center
  • Memory/Cognition/Aging Brain, including The Center for Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Concussion and Head Injuries
  • Neurological conditions including chronic headache and movement disorders
  • Neurological testing including:
    • Electromyography [EMG] and
    • Evoked Potential Studies [EPS]

 

What to Expect For Your Appointment

The office recommends that the following be faxed to the office in advance of the appointment:

  • Laboratory reports
  • Radiology reports (including images).  Please send electronically or, if on a disc, mail directly to the office.
  • Relevant medical notes

Jonathan Braiman, MD

Dr. Braiman received his Bachelor of Science from Tufts University. He then obtained his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Uniformed Services Health Sciences University, and served our country in the United States Armed Services from 1987 – 1995. An upstate New York native, Dr. Braiman brings nearly 25 years of Neurology experience to Glens Falls Neurology and has been instrumental in the success of the Center of Excellence of Alzheimer’s Disease and the Stroke Center at Glens Falls Hospital.

Ruth E. Fish, RN, C-FNP, obtained her Bachelors in Science in Nursing at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then obtained her Master’s in Nursing with a double major in Family Nurse Practice and Community Health. She is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings more than thirty years of experience in Geriatric and Internal Medicine to Glens Falls Neurology, as well as the Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease and Stroke Center at Glens Falls Hospital. Ruth’s unique skills and passion for her work and patients are an asset to the program and to the community it serves.
