Specimen Required
Submit stool specimen in a clean, dry container and deliver to the Laboratory within 1 hour of collection. Also acceptable are stool specimens that have been transferred into a parasite (O&P) transport kit (PVA vial only) within one hour of collection.
Specimen Stability Information
PVA – Stable for 48 hours, Sterile container – Stable for 1 hour.
Performing Laboratory
As ordered. Turn around time is 1 hour.
