One full 2.7 mL (3.2% sodium citrate) blue top tube. Specimen will be rejected if the tube is underfilled or overfilled.

Specimen Stability Information

Specimen is stable for 8 hours, if it is not centrifuged or refrigerated. Otherwise, the specimen should be centrifuged, the plasma removed, and the plasma frozen at -20°C for up to two weeks or at -70°C for up to six months.
