The Snuggery includes a 10-bed Special Care Nursery for premature and postmature
infants, as well as those with breathing or feeding difficulties, infections and
congenital abnormalities.
Occasionally, a baby will need to be transferred to the Regional Perinatal Center at
Albany Medical Center Hospital or to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Peter’s
Hospital in Albany for specialized care. Most often, these babies return to Glens Falls
Hospital when their conditions have stabilized.
Visitors should be advised that cell phones are not permitted in the Special
Care Nursery.
