Glens Falls Hospital offers many programs to help build healthy communities. A healthy community is one that makes it easier for people to eat well, be physically active, not smoke, and obtain preventive care.
For individuals looking to improve their health, we offer a wide variety of Health and Wellness Events. Download our calendar by clicking here.
In addition, support and education programs are offered throughout the hospital for people dealing with specific diseases or chronic health issues. To learn more about these programs, go to our Services directory and choose the service in which you are interested.
Our Community Health and Wellness department works "behind-the-scenes" with many partner organizations, to put in place the information, policies and practices that promote healthy lifestyles on a large scale. Our community partners include schools, work sites, libraries, municipalities and other healthcare organizations. Our programs focus on the health priorities identified by a regional healthcare assessment and planning process, coordinated by the Adirondack Rural Health Network
