Each student must have a physical examination for health certification prior to starting the program. This includes filling out a health questionnaire and either proof of or obtaining immunizations/vaccinations and/or booster shots, as well as the Hepatitis B series. A TB tine test must be done annually. All of this can be done either through the hospital's Center for Occupational Health for a fee, or through the student's own physician.
