Intensive Day Treatment Program

Services:

The Intensive Day Treatment Program is an outpatient day program for individuals with severe mental illness. Clinical services include individual & group therapy, medication management, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation readiness assessment.

The staff is comprised of social workers, registered nurses and a psychiatrist. Individuals may attend the program 3-5 days per week depending on clinical needs.

Fees:

Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, contingent on meeting the associated needs criteria. Very limited coverage by commercial insurance companies is available, usually with brief time limits.

Access:

Referrals can be made by calling (518) 926-7220 and talking to any of the program therapists. Referrals usually are made by another psychiatric treatment service, but direct referrals are considered.
