Kathy
Andersen, R.N., has enjoyed
caring for patients at Glens Falls Hospital for 25 years, but she says the
past 12 years have been the most rewarding — in our Outpatient Renal
Center.
“I
fell in love with it,” says Kathy, who joined the Center as a staff
nurse and was promoted to Nurse Manager last year. “We see the same
patients and get to know them. We know their families. It’s nice to be
very focused on the patient, but also know that they are able to go home
and lead relatively normal lives.”
“My
heart is here,” Kathy says. “I’ll be here for a long time. Working
with good people — patients and staff — is so rewarding.”
