The trustees of the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation
invite you to dance and dine through time at “The Great and The Gracious
Gala,” Thursday, July 13, from 6 p.m. to midnight, in the Ballroom at
the Sagamore Resort.
Proceeds from the Gala will support the new Glens
Falls Hospital Outpatient Renal Center, scheduled to open later this year
on Broad Street in Glens Falls.
This year’s Gala will feature entertainment from
the 1920s through the 1950s presented by the internationally known musical
and theatrical group, Chez-zam. Dress for the evening is your choice of
casual, elegant or period attire. Joining the Foundation trustees as hosts
will be Charlie Chaplin and an assortment of gangsters, flappers and other
colorful characters.
A special highlight of the evening will be the
drawing of the winning raffle ticket for a Raven Black 1955 Thunderbird
with a value of $45,500. This classic T-Bird was donated by Dan and Liz
Valente of Queensbury. Tickets for the raffle are $55 each and only 1,000
will be sold.
Tickets for “The Great and The Gracious Gala” are
$150 each. Reservations —and raffle ticket purchases — can be arranged
by calling Claudia Higgins at (518) 926-7077.
