Physician's company in Iraq thanks Glens Falls Hospital

| Earlier this spring, Dr. Paul Mabry (center of group, with glasses), a family physician at Cambridge Family Health Center, was deployed as a physician attached to the 466th Medical Service Ambulance Company stationed at one of the military bases near the Talil airfield in southern Iraq. Dr. Mabry, who served in Iraq in 2004 and in Saudi Arabia in 1990 during Desert Storm, encouraged health center officials to design him a banner so that his unit could properly say thanks to Glens Falls Hospital and the Cambridge Health Center staff for letting him "lend" his services to the troops. Medical staff at the base battalion aid station care for sick and injured military personnel as well as treating patients from motor vehicle crashes on a nearby highway. |
