GLENS FALLS – David G. Wall from BBL Construction Services, LLC recently
visited Glens Falls Hospital personally to deliver a check for $10,000 to the
Glens Falls Hospital Foundation. BBL has made a total commitment of $50,000 to
the Northwest Tower project.
BBL Construction Services was the general contractor for the Hospital’s
Northwest Tower, a $65 million, six-story modernization project completed in
November 2005. The Northwest Tower is the largest modernization project in the
Hospital’s 109-year history.
“Our patients, visitors and employees constantly remark on how impressed they
are upon entering the Northwest Tower. The exceptional quality and workmanship
BBL put into this facility is obvious,” said F. Raymond Agnew, executive vice
president, Glens Falls Hospital Foundation. “Their financial support of the
Glens Falls Hospital Foundation speaks highly of the organization’s community
involvement.”
BBL has met the construction needs of an impressive list of long-term clients in
the commercial, office, industrial, institutional, residential, medical, and
heavy construction fields. The design/build firm’s most notable local projects
include: Kaatskill Mountain Club in Hunter, NY, MVP Healthcare Center in
Schenectady and Albany Family Court.
With 410 certified beds and nearly 3,000 employees, Glens Falls Hospital is the
largest acute care community hospital between Albany and Montreal, and the
largest employer in the Glens Falls region. The Hospital serves more than
180,000 people over a six-county, 3,000-square-mile, primarily rural region.
