Richard Hughes Jr., MD, to
speak at A.W.A.K.E. Support Group April 17
GLENS FALLS — Are you one of the estimated 18 million Americans who suffer
through restless nights and interrupted sleep? Sleep apnea is a breathing
disorder characterized by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep,
resulting in an astounding 20 to 60 apneic events per hour.
Richard Hughes Jr., MD, will speak on the topic of “An Ear/Nose/Throat Surgeon’s
Perspective of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and its Treatment” during the Adirondack
A.W.A.K.E. Support Group meeting on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting
will be held in Glens Falls Hospital’s Wood Community Learning Center, located
on the Northwest Tower’s first floor, across from the Bistro.
