Exercise series promises to strengthen bones and
get folks fit
GLENS FALLS – The Northeast Regional Osteoporosis Resource Center at Glens Falls
Hospital (NERORC) will conduct an eight-week exercise series beginning in early
April geared toward middle-age adults looking to strengthen bones and improve
their overall fitness.
The series, entitled “Strength Training for Better Bones to Prevent
Osteoporosis,” will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
beginning Tuesday, April 3 at the Glens Falls Hospital Wellness Center, 100 Park
Street, Glens Falls.
The program is geared toward adults between ages 40 and 60 concerned about their
bone health and looking for a high-energy total body workout that they can
continue on their own at home.
The program fee is $80. Class size is limited. For more information or to
