Osteoporosis support group meeting set for March
15
GLENS FALLS – The
Northeast Regional Osteoporosis Center at Glens Falls
Hospital will host an osteoporosis support group meeting Thursday,
March 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bay Road Center, 25 Willowbrook Road,
located just south of Adirondack Community College in Queensbury.
Jodi Brynes, Glens Falls Hospital Wellness Center director, will answer
questions on exercise and osteoporosis. Brynes, with 11 years of exercise
science experience, is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a
Group Fitness Instructor and registered with the American College of Sports
Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and an Exercise Specialist.
The support group meets the third Thursday of the month and provides information
and education to those living with osteoporosis and looks to group members to
play an active role in planning and development to suit their needs.
