GLENS FALLS – Emerald Springs Spa and Medical has raised $300 to benefit The Breast Center at Glens Falls Hospital.
During the month of October, the full-service day spa recently opened at 480
Glen Street in Glens Falls, sold breast cancer awareness pins and pledged $5 of
select spa services upgrades toward the fundraiser. The pins and upgrades
generated $160, with the spa matching $140 to make the donation an even $300.
Co-owned by Dr. David Cunningham, medical director, and Gayle DePan-Cartier, RPA-C,
spa director, the spa is an elegant, private two-story retreat that provides a
host of cosmetic services administered holistically in a serene spa environment.
Services include a wide variety of facial treatments, full body massage, body
waxing, manicures and pedicures in a heated whirlpool massage chair, full body
mud wraps and spa packages as well as Botox Cosmetic and Restylane Dermal
filler.
The Breast Center brings together the region’s most comprehensive breast cancer
prevention, education, screening and support services – along with an
experienced and understanding staff – in one conveniently located, comfortably
designed and technologically advanced facility.
