The Snuggery announces infant massage class Nov.
27
GLENS FALLS – The Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital will offer an infant massage
class on Monday, Nov. 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Snuggery’s 2 West
Classroom, 100 Park Street, Glens Falls.
The series offers expectant parents and new parents with babies ranging in age
from 3 weeks to the creeping stage, about 11 months old, the opportunity to
learn the age-old techniques of infant massage. Licensed massage therapist Sarah
Lewis, certified through the International Loving Touch Foundation, teaches
step-by-step massage and relaxation techniques, which helps promote loving bonds
between parents and their babies. Each parent and baby enrolled in the program
receives individualized instruction and attention, as well as a detailed
step-by-step booklet to help them continue giving massage to their baby.
The course fee is $25 per individual and $35 per couple. Parents interested in
