Dr. Louis DeCunzo
Medical Director
After earning a B.A. degree from Rutgers College, in New
Brunswick, NJ, Dr. DeCunzo received his M.D. from The
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey –
Rutgers Medical School. Following General Surgical
residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University
Hospital, he completed a one-year fellowship in Thoracic
Organ Transplantation at the University of Wisconsin in
Madison, followed by a Cardiothoracic Surgery residency
at the UW Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. DeCunzo is a
Diplomate of The American Board of Surgery and The
American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He is a Fellow in the
American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society
of Thoracic Surgeons and the General Thoracic Surgical
Club. Locally, Dr. DeCunzo is Chairman of The Glens Falls
Hospital Cancer Committee and Co-director of the
International Early Lung Cancer Action Program at Glens
Falls Hospital.
