The Director of Quality Management provides administrative leadership for the hospitals quality and safety programs, focusing efforts on outcomes which improve the quality, efficiency and satisfaction of patient care. The Director of Quality Management is responsible for the design; organization and implementation of the GFH Quality plan and works closely with Medical Staff leadership to achieve its implementation and desired outcomes. The Director of Quality Management is responsible for managing all survey readiness and compliance with external agencies including TJC, CMS and DOH.


Education/Experience

-Clinical Background, Bachelors degree required. Masters degree highly desirable.
-Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in a leadership or management role required.
-Three years quality management experience required.
-Certified Profession in Health Care Quality (CPHQ) highly desirable.

-Leadership exemplified by an ability to achieve results in a team environment with matrixed authority structure.
-Integrity and respect for the contributions of all patient care disciplines
-Ability to present complex issues to varied audiences, including staff, physicians, governing body &/or the public.
-Computer skills and knowledge of statistical applications required.
-Must be able to work collaboratively with and support medical staff.
-Must be tactful in all settings, self-motivated, highly energetic and knowledgeable of regulatory requirements.
