Inpatient ServicesGlens Falls Hospital’s inpatient oncology unit, located on the new Northwest Tower's second floor, offers 23 private rooms. Family involvement is a key part of the unit’s approach to patient care. Visiting hours are open, and specially designated rooms are available for family visits and private meetings with our medical staff. Assisting each patient’s oncologist is an interdisciplinary team specializing in the care of individuals and families affected by a diagnosis of cancer. Team members include oncology nurses, a case manager, a health psychologist, social worker, oncology educators, rehabilitation specialists, an oncology nutritionist, a pharmacist, and oncology nurses. Pastoral care is also available. |
