Oncology Data Management
(Cancer Registry)
Our Oncology Data Management department collects demographic data, and detailed
diagnosis and treatment information, on all patients diagnosed and/or treated for cancer
at The C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital and its satellites.
With this data, we are able to provide analysis, monitor treatment, and encourage
research in an effort to continuously improve the quality of care available to our
patients.
Cancer treatments are documented and the results are monitored and compared to state
and national data. Information is collected for a lifetime and patients may be asked to
provide information regarding their disease status or treatments.
All patient information is maintained in strict confidentiality.
