Expert Audiologists On Staff

The Hearing Center's staff brings unparalleled expertise --
the Center is the only North Country program to boast four professionals
with doctorate degrees in hearing science. 
 

Susan Boggia, Au.D., has served as Director of The Hearing Center since 1986. A master's degree graduate of Adelphi University, she received her doctoral degree in audiology through the University of Florida. Prior to her employment at The Hearing Center, Dr. Boggia provided diagnostic and hearing aid dispensing services to private physician practices, nursing homes and educational facilities. She was also instrumental in developing the Educational Audiology Program at the local BOCES center. Dr. Boggia is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser as well as a certified teacher of the speech and hearing handicapped. She is board certified by the American Academy of Audiology and possesses a certificate of clinical competency from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.

Deborah Pierce, Au.D., has been with The Hearing Center since 1991. A master's degree graduate of Plattsburgh State College, she received her doctoral degree from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry's Division of Audiology. Dr. Pierce is presently the program coordinator for pediatric and school-based hearing services in addition to her other audiological duties. She is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser and has a certificate of clinical competency from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.

Dina Foster, Au.D., joined The Hearing Center in 2000. She has a master's degree from the State University at Buffalo. Dr. Foster has brought a wealth of experience from the private audiology sector and expertise in the evaluation of young children. Dina received her doctoral degree from the Pennsylvania School of Optometry's Division of Audiology. She is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser and Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Tammy Morrill, Au.D., has worked with The Hearing Center since 2000, bringing a broad clinical background from her previous hospital-based employment. A master's degree graduate of Colorado State University, she received her doctoral degree from the University of Florida. Dr. Morrill is a New York State licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser and also holds a certificate of clinical competency from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
