Oncology Education and Support Services:
This important component of our Cancer Center services is designed to meet the educational and support needs of cancer patients and their families beginning with diagnosis and continuing through treatment and recovery. Through the program, cancer patients are assigned a personal oncology nurse who works with them and their families from diagnosis through treatment, providing information and, most important, a shoulder to lean on. Among the services offered are the Uniquely You Boutique and Salon, which provides mastectomy fittings and specialized hair and skin care to cancer patients, and a variety of support groups for patients and their families.
