The Wellness Center at Glens Falls Hospital is open to
the community as well as hospital employees. It is unique in the fact
that it is staffed by exercise physiologists who can provide exercise
assistance for marathon runners to clients who are at high risk or have
various illnesses, diseases, or limitations. They provide exercise,
counseling, and support services in a medically oriented environment.
Our Motto is everyone can exercise, and everyone needs the benefits
exercise provides.
The Wellness Center also runs a class
that caters to the Senior population, and also houses The Cardiac
Rehabilitation and Risk Reduction Programs for patients who have
experienced, or are at high risk, for heart disease.
