
The
Center for Occupational Health at Glens Falls Hospital was established
in 1992 with a goal of helping injured employees from businesses across
our service area return to work sooner and healthier. The Center is also
committed to working with area businesses to maintain a healthier and
more productive workforce.
Our team of specially trained occupational health physicians,
physician assistants and nurses have established working relationships
with more than 400 local, regional and national businesses. Services are
provided at the Center for Occupational Health or in the workplace, and
include:
• work-related injury and illness treatment and management;
• functional capacity assessment;
• industrial hygiene and safety services;
• on-site physician and nursing services;
• pre-employment physicals;
• occupational health screenings for drugs, alcohol use, hearing
and vision capabilities, pulmonary function and other purposes;
• DOT/DOH surveillance programs;
• Wellness initiatives, such as immunizations, flu
shots, and cancer and
cardiac screenings.
