Glens Falls
Hospital provides the longest continuously operating mobile dental services
in New York state. Since 1976, the Mobile Dental Van has provided
comprehensive dental care and education to children ages 4-12 who are
uninsured or are covered by Medicaid. Services are provided at more than a
dozen area schools and Head Start locations. More than 1,000 children are
served by the 34-foot, two-chair van each year. Dental treatments include
exams, preventative and restorative treatments and minor surgical
procedures.
