The services offered at the The C. R. Wood Cancer Center go far beyond cancer treatment to help cancer patients and their families go on with their lives. We have established a comprehensive array of support and education services to help people adapt and cope with the emotional and lifestyle changes that inevitably result from a cancer diagnosis, and help them understand and utilize the many resources available to them.
Our Resource Nurses provide a wide range of education and support on a one-to-one basis and in groups. Our nurses are available to patients and families from initial diagnosis throughout the cancer experience.
